The other day my sister, Katie, babysat Austin for me. When I went to pick him up they had just eaten dinner. I asked him how dinner was, and if he ate. He told me that he did. Katie said, "Well, you ate a little bit Austin. You had a little bit of corn, and what else did you eat?" He thought for a minute and said "Umm, some yucky stuff." You can always count on kids to tell it to you straight I guess!

I was talking on the phone with Ashley, the girl that lives in our basement. We were talking about going swimming up at my parents house. I told her that I would call Jeremy and then give her a call back. I didn't recognize the number that she called me from, so I asked her if this was Will's (her husband) phone. I then hung up the phone to call Jeremy. Austin came over to me, looked at my phone really funny for a minute and then said "That em Will's phone? That em a pink phone!" I had to laugh at that he was even listening to my conversation, and then that he would think to take my words so literally.

This morning I was just about going crazy with the boys. I was trying to get ready in my bathroom and they kept throwing everything into the toilet, we are talking toothbrushes, toys, binkies. I was really annoyed. After telling them to stop for the 10th time I told Austin that we had to throw away anything that touched the toilet in the garbage. He looked at me, and then back and Makay and said "BK (that's Austin's name for Makay) touching the toilet. You going to throw him in the garbage?"
