We had lots of fun Easter festivities this year. It all started with the Easter Egg hunt. Lots of friends got together up at Rock Canyon Park and had a picnic and easter egg hunt for the kids. Austin, Coleman and Ellie loved it! Coleman found his eggs first, so he was nice enough to help Austin find some for him.
Grandma and Grandpa Trail came into town for the weekend and they colored eggs with Austin. He thought it was great! He had so much fun dropping the eggs in the dye...good thing for a metal table! And he would put as many stickers as he could fit on each egg.
On Saturday night as we were putting Austin to bed we were explaining to him that he had to go to sleep so that the Easter Bunny could come. He layed down for a minute and then heard a noise outside of his room. He sat up really quick and looked at me and said "The Easter Bunny!?!" It was fun to see how excited he was.
The Easter Bunny finally did come and brought both Austin and Makay basket ball jersey's with their names on them! Austin was in Heaven!
